Justin Corrocher is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Media, Pennsylvania, and is a supervisor and program coordinator for the Family First program, an intensive, home-based, family therapy program for Child Guidance Resource Centers. He is a graduate of the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center and works with families, children, young adults, and couples in his private practice. He has a particular expertise in therapy with families with adolescents. Justin will be conducting two groups for adolescent boys in the Fall.

Justin has worked extensively with families whose children and adolescents exhibit oppositional and defiant behavior at home and at school, learning and attentional difficulties, sibling conflicts, parent-child conflicts, suicidal behavior, bi-polar and mood disorder symptoms, anxiety and social withdrawal, drug and alcohol abuse, low self-esteem, and depression. Prior to his work with children and families, Justin conducted individual and group therapy with adults presenting with drug and alcohol abuse problems, relational conflicts, depression and anxiety.

A distinguishing characteristic of Justin’s therapy is his use of simple, validated measures to keep track of his clients’ progress and experience of the therapy. These measures allow his clients’ feedback to be a central part of the therapy and can be completed by children and adults alike.

Justin has lived abroad and has extensive experience studying Eastern spiritual traditions and teaching dance. He brings an attention to mindfulness and diversity into his clinical practice.
