Taryn Cain-Strobel, MA, LMFT

Taryn is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has spent the past 10+ years treating children and families, as well as couples and individuals, who struggle with anxiety, depression, isolating and self-injurious behaviors, oppositional behaviors at home and at school, family and co-parenting conflicts, as well as general stress and struggles with life transitions. Taryn brings a trauma-informed and relational approach to her therapy, believing all members of a family or relationship impact one another. Taryn utilizes opportunities in session to practice new behaviors and skills to address the issues presented for treatment. She strives to bring openness and curiosity to her practice, and welcomes clients of all beliefs and backgrounds.

Taryn is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University with a Master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy, and is a graduate of the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy training program through the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center. She also has a certification in Trauma Art Narrative Therapy.
