Darlene is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, couples, and parents from diverse cultures and with unique backgrounds. Her clients have had varied mental health and behavioral health needs, most commonly, anxiety, depressive disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), personality disorders, PTSD, trauma, and addictions. She has a special interest in the areas of parenting, life transitions, intergenerational work, spirituality, and family or relationship challenges.

Darlene has extensive training in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and she uses principles from these backgrounds and others from Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT) to guide her work with clients. She is attachment-focused and strength-based in her work. She brings a warm and playful style and a validating presence to the challenges her clients face.

Darlene is also fluent in Spanish.

Darlene’s practice is telehealth only, where she brings an active style to remote interaction.
